IBM has launched AI Stories with Watsonx in collaboration with the Recording Academy, a generative AI solution to create and amplify editorial content for GRAMMY nominees during the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Utilizing AI Content Builder in Watsonx, the Recording Academy's editorial team will produce personalized insights on nominees, enhancing fan engagement across digital platforms and livestream events.

New embedding models and API updates

OpenAI announces updates:

• new embedding models with reduced pricing

• a GPT-3.5 Turbo model (gpt-3.5-turbo-0125) with lowered costs

• an enhanced GPT-4 Turbo preview model

New text moderation model (text-moderation-007) and features allowing users to control API key permissions and track usage on a per-feature basis are introduced.

AlphaGeometry: An Olympiad-level AI system for geometry

Google introduces AlphaGeometry, an AI system outperforming previous models in solving complex geometry problems, approaching the level of a human Olympiad gold medalist.

AlphaGeometry combines a neural language model with a symbolic deduction engine and utilizes a unique method to generate 100 million synthetic training examples.

Open-sourcing the code, Google aims to advance AI reasoning, showcasing the potential of training systems with large-scale synthetic data in mathematics and beyond.
